Product Description

WEIMIN's zirconia-coated corundum-mullite setter plate is intended primarily for support and separation during high-temperature sodium sulfate firing. It combines a corundum-mullite base with a 0.8 mm working-face coating containing 97% ZrO2. The composite design focuses on resistance to attack by acidic and alkaline media and on limiting molten-salt penetration, aiming to reduce direct contact between the process medium and the base.

Key process considerations include base-surface preparation, uniform coating thickness, coating continuity, interface bonding and compatibility of firing shrinkage between the coating and the base. Dimensions, coating coverage and support arrangements can be specified for the application. Actual corrosion resistance and service life depend on feed composition, temperature, hold time and heating/cooling conditions, and should be confirmed through application trials.
